It was a red-letter day!

1.  Went to the store and bought myself a Bernina.  It was time.

2.  Took a few more step, further committing myself to the completion of the longed for "ABC" pillow.  It's a major commitment.  One that can only be made if true love is involved.

3.  The shams made it to their final destination, because they were finally done.  Longest, smallest, quilting project I've ever done!

BACKS

Topped it off with a polka dotted bow pillow.  I couldn't help myself.

Can tomorrow get any better than today?!

Love those shams and the orange polka dot fabric! Let me know how you like your Bernina...I'm in need of a new machine and have been considering Bernina or Janome.

Amazingly productive day!!! Show us pictures of your new machine and give a review! I pulled BOTH of my machines out for a sew fest and though I love my little Brother machine, my mom's old Bernina is such a workhorse and so steady. You will not regret your purchase (said by a Bernina snob, which you will probably become)

Oh it's all so lovely. Gorgeous pillow shams, darling orange polka dot bow pillow, super cute start on the coveted ABC pillow, and prettiest of all - the Bernina box. I can't wait to see what kind of treasures you make with your new machine.

Thanks ladies. I will be sure to give more details about the machine as it becomes more familiar to me. So far it's still kind of foreign. But I'm working on it!
