Quick Change Trousers

Last week I got my copy of Anna Maria Horner's New Beginnings in the mail.  There are so many things that I want to make in this book.  I also had another ultrasound last week confirming that I am indeed pregnant with another little boy.  At my first ultrasound when I heard it was a little boy, I was ever so slightly sad that I wasn't having a little girl because there are so many things to sew for girls.  However, I've since realized there are plenty of ideas and things to sew and make for little boys.

Let's start with these new little Quick Change Trousers.  These pants are about the cutest things I think I've ever made.  They are completely reversible with a little yoke on the backside to give them a little more personality.

I'm in love.  You will definitely see me make more of these pants over the next couple of months.  They are very simple to sew which will hopefully insure that I'll make them again (and again and again).

I have grand plans of making several onesies for my new baby boy.  To go with the Quick Change Trousers, I appliqued a whale on to the onesie because in Italian our last name means whale.

Now I'm thinking the only thing this outfit is missing is booties.  I'll add that to the list of things that I need to sew which keeps getting longer instead of shorter!!

He's going to be the best dressed little boy around! You've found some super cute fabrics and he'll be the only baby to be wearing that design. Can't wait to see what else you whip up for him.

I love your and annee's things. I even think that maybe one day I'll be brave enough to try. these pants and onesie are adorable! I bought a pattern from etsy one time, but that's as far as it went. It just seem so intimidating. Much easier to just look at your stuff and be jealous! You should be very proud of your talents.
